At the invitation of the Beihai College of Art and Design in China, artist Howard Paine delivered a lecture to over 2,000 attendees, mostly students and faculty, on his artwork and its influences. During his time on campus, he also met with groups of students and professors.

The Beihai College of Art and Design is in the Guangxi province of China and has approximately 25,000 art students. Professor Paine hopes to consult for the school in the future.
