In September’s edition of the online journal, Flash Art International, Dr. Adrian Duran reviewed “Inner Ear Vision: Sound as Medium,” a Bemis exhibition that focused on contemporary sound art. This exhibit, which was on display at the Bemis from July 11-September 14, displayed a range of installations and objects that according to Duran, not only produced sound but also encouraged “reflection and self-awareness.” Dr. Duran has been writing and publishing art criticism for over a decade.
