UNO fiction writer, Kevin Clouther, holds a writing workshop in March 2021 for members of the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) community. Part of the Community Writing Session Program pilot, Clouther’s workshop will help participants craft fiction based on experiences living and working in the pandemic. The founders of this pilot program understand the value of writing in managing stressful situation and creating space for self-care and empathy.
Kevin Clouther is an Assistant Professor in Writer’s Workshop and the Program Coordinator for the MFA in Writing. He is the author of We Were Flying to Chicago: Stories and numerous stories and essays. He is also the recipient of the Richard Yates Fiction Award and the Gell Residency Award.
